LEARN MORE ABOUT CORINNE LEBLANC:

Corinne deeply values your wisdom and insight into your child's health. She takes the time to listen and truly hear your concerns and goals for your little one. You, after all, are the best expert on your child. Corinne created Portland Pediatric Acupuncture to be a loving and playful space where kids can be kids; and feel healthier while being their magically unique little selves.

Corinne has been working with children for close to 15 years. Upon graduating from Ithaca College with degree in dance therapy, she started work as an activities coordinator at a residential treatment center for children with neurodevelopmental challenges. Continuing work with children on the autism spectrum, Corinne entered a training program at the Autism Treatment Center of America, where she worked with families from all over the world utilizing a play-based approach to encourage growth in language, eye contact and reciprocal play. Wanting to provide services to families in their homes, she started a business, providing 1:1 relationship-based play therapy to children on the autism spectrum. Inspired by the progress that she was seeing in the kiddos that were receiving acupuncture and using herbal medicine, she completed a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO. In addition to her degree, Corinne also participated in a month-long externship at a university hospital in Harbin, China, with rounds in pediatrics, stroke recovery, and OB/GYN. She has studied with some of the top pediatric acupuncturists, and will complete the first certification in Pediatric Acupuncture in November 2020. She utilizes her experience to create a unique, fun, and effective approach to health for kids from 8 weeks to 18 years old. Corinne has a deep passion for working with children on the autism spectrum, and those diagnosed with behavioral disorders.

When Corinne isn't in her cozy office, she still loves to play! You'll likely find her hiking, mountain biking, and stand-up paddle boarding her way around the magnificent Northwest with her handsome hubby, Mike, and their precious pup, Aubbie.
