COVID-19 PROCUEDURES

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU COME IN

*All patients  will be required to wear their own face masks to the clinic.

 

*Family and friends will not be allowed to accompany patients to their appointments, with the exception of a single healthy guardian in the case of pediatric patients. 

 

*We ask that you come in to your appointment right on time to prevent overcrowding of the waiting room, and you may be asked to wait in your vehicle or outside until your appointment time if necessary to maintain social distancing in the clinic.

 

*If you are late, we will ask you to reschedule to prevent overcrowding of the clinic.

*Please call ahead if you will need to use the elevator.

Exposure and Quarantine Guidelines: 

​

per CDC guidelines, if you have recent exposure to someone with COVID-19 please follow the below protocols for quarantine BEFORE you come in for an in person office visit with your practitioner: 

 

If you-

-completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over 6 months ago and are not boosted

-completed the primary series of J & J over 2 months ago and are not boosted

-are unvaccinated

 

-stay home for 5 days. After that continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days. 

-test on day 5.  We require a negative test on day 5 to come to the clinic for an in person visit. 

-if you develop symptoms, stay home, get a test and do not come in for an in person visit. 

 

 

If you-

-have been boosted

-completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months

-completed the primary series of J& J within the last 2 months: 

 

-wear a mask around others for 10 days

-test on day 5

-if you develop symptoms, stay home, get a test and do not come in for an in person visit.

SCHEDULING DURING THIS TIME

*If you are uncertain if an in person appointment is necessary or if you are in a high risk category and have concerns about coming in, please reach out to your provider for more information.

*if you or anybody in your household is symptomatic, please schedule a telemedicine visit only.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE

*If you or anyone in your house is symptomatic,  please do not come in person and schedule a telemedicine appointment with your provider.  

​

*No more than three providers will be scheduled simultaneously to allow for patients to be seen on opposite sides of the clinic.

 

*Patient scheduling will be staggered to support social distancing. 

 

*All patients who are approved for an in-person office visit must wear a mask to their appointment. their appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled if they are not wearing appropriate PPE at the time of their appointment.

 

* All office visits will be scheduled with a 10 minute gap between visits to allow for cleaning of the exam room. 

 

*At the discretion of the reception and staff, patients may be asked to wait for their appointment time in their vehicle to prevent overcrowding of the clinic lobby. Patients will be advised that family members may not accompany them to their appointments. In the case of pediatric patients, one healthy adult may accompany them into their appointment.
