PRIVATE INFRARED SAUNA

Enjoy better skin, increased circulation, less pain and burn up to 700 calories a session!

WHY INFRARED SAUNA?

DETOXIFICATION

Sweating is good for you!  Slightly raising body temperature produces a natural biological defense and healing action of the immune system to rid the body of destructive pathogens.

PAIN RELIEF

Chronic pain can be driven by several factors such as inflammation, accumulative toxins, long term stress, lack of sleep, over-exercise, dehydration, hormonal imbalances or gut imbalances. Regardless of the drivers, infrared saunas have been scientifically proven to help lower pain associated with various health conditions.

WOUND HEALING

infrared light significantly increases tissue growth and cell regeneration due to our mitochondria readily accepting infrared light.

SKIN HEALTH

The near infrared wavelengths are the most effective wavelengths for healing the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin along with stimulating collagen production to reduce wrinkles and improve overall skin tone.

STRESS MANAGEMENT

Infrared sauna therapy promotes relaxation by helping to balance your body's level of cortisol, your body's primary stress hormone. The heat generated by the sauna will also help to relax muscles and relieve tension throughout the body, allowing you to relax and de-stress.

CIRCULATION

Boost blood flow and thermal energy to muscle cells!  Heating the muscles with infrared rays produces an increase in blood flow similar to that seen during exercise, burning as much as 700 calories in one session.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU COME IN FOR AN INFRARED SAUNA SESSION:

WHAT DO I WEAR?

We provide towels, robe, and water.  You can go naked (but sit on a towel) or wear swimming attire if you prefer.

IS THERE A SHOWER?

No shower but a restroom is available right next to the sauna room.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?

This is a two person sauna.  You can bring a friend for a $5 fee that you pay at time of service and they must sign a waiver before entering.  We request that you give us a 24 hour notice so we can make sure to have towels and robe available for your guest.

HOW HOT DOES THE SAUNA GET?

140-165 degrees.  Infrared saunas do not heat the air, they use wavelengths of light that we feel as heat and it increases your core temperature more efficiently than traditional saunas which heat the air which then heats your core.  â€‹So you might not "feel" as hot as you do in a traditional sauna even tho your core temperature is just as hot!

It is not advisable to use an infrared sauna under certain medical conditions and it is recommended that you consult a physician before first use or if questions/concerns arise
